BT's 118500 Directory Enquiry line service has attracted a £225,000 fine from Phonepayplus after 27 consumer complaints in just four months. 

BT is accused of 'dragging out the length of calls' and 'not making the call cost clear '.

Complaints about charity fundraising hit the headlines

The Fundraising Standards Board has highlighted a significant increase in complaints to charities about their fundraising methods. 

Direct mail, telephone and doorstep fundraising are the three ares that come in for the greatest criticism.
