Society of Consumer Affairs Professionals (SOCAP) in Australia


SOCAP Australia was established in 1991 and has become the most diverse body of customer advocates and consumer affairs professionals in Australia. Its members bring value to their organisations and their customers through commitment to quality, customer service, choice and better information.

Membership is open to all professionals who are in some way responsible for creating and maintaining customer loyalty. SOCAP's current membership profile includes operational personnel, management and policy makers in the private and public sectors and across all industries who share a vision of building sustainable relationships with consumers based on trust, fairness and transparency.

SOCAP brings together the key staff across consumer affairs, customer service, inbound call centres, market research, sales and marketing, database management, new business development, compliance and operations, across all industries and government.
